This style of dunnage is applicable to a wide range of products. The application shown is for injection molded automotive trim parts. Parts are held securely between foam fingers and attached to plastic corrugated layer pads.
Since each part is held individually, the class “A” surface is well protected from mar or abrasion damage. Each layer of parts is secured by nylon straps to ensure they are not separated and lost. The multi-layer extended length NF481511 tote easily accommodates parts that have non-standard dimensions.
The focus of this engineered SCHAEFGUARD design is to maximize the Quantity of Parts per Container (QPC). By getting more parts per container less containers are needed therefore lowering the overall cost for packaging. By choosing a reusable packaging option, a return on the packaging investment will be realized after several trips as compared to expendable single use packaging.
