Plastic corrugated partitions create divided cells to house each part individually. Hammock slings made from soft shield fabric suspend the parts preventing them from touching the floor of the tote. Soft shield is a Class “A” fabric that prevents mar and abrasion to painted and molded-in color parts.
Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) foam bumpers are placed on either side of the part to provide added cushioning.
The clear vinyl scrim lid keeps the parts clean and protected while giving the operator clear visibility in to tote.
The SSI Schaefer collapsible CF242211.FC tote has a larger internal dimension than standard totes which allowed our skilled design engineers to fit one extra part per container.
This SCHAEFGUARD Engineered Solution works extremely well for sensitive parts that need protection from shock as a result of rough handling. This application is housing an automotive meter cluster that mounts into the car dashboard.
This style of custom reusable dunnage can be modified to protect expensive electronic parts using ESD protective materials.
